Our Story
JGD Memorial Foundation is a Non-Profit Organization formed in memory of the late John G. DeSimone, who suffered a heart attack at the age of 45. John was a hard working individual, who’s favorite way to spend his free time was to be with anybody who was interested in sharing a good conversation and a good laugh. The JGD Memorial Foundation’s purpose is to gather people together for a day of leisure and socialization, while raising funds for organizations and communities that reflect the life he lived.
Luna, the day she arrived
Partnered with the Northeast Animal Shelter, MSPCA. John was an avid animal lover, having pets his entire life from childhood through adulthood. On New Years Day 2023, he decided to rescue a dog by the name of Luna that desperately needed a new home, and she quickly became a member of the family.
